The metal band I Promised The World recently hosted a month-long tour in January. As a fan of theirs, I decided to create an unofficial, short-form style event promotion motion graphic promoting their January 2026 tour. The band has an established style and aesthetic featured throughout their music, music videos, and social media posts, and I followed their grungy look as I designed and animated. To represent their style, I chose a primarily green and dark color palette and implemented grainy, gritty music-related footage for the background. I started the video with an eye-catching animation with the ‘I Promised The World’ text to communicate the important details and hook viewers in. I also added music that is similar to their sound, as I was unfortunately not permitted to use their original music. Finally, I simplified the overall text’s appearance and motion to make it easily readable.
